Who We Are
Steel City Structural Engineering, an engineering consulting company specializing in residential and commercial structural engineering services, was formed in 2020. The company was started by an engineer born and raised in the beautiful “City of Bridges”, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are local and can be counted on to provide personalized and timely service to our clients.
Why We Started
We found there was a need for local structural engineers, specifically in the residential market. Many larger engineering firms will only take on larger scale projects, leaving homeowners with smaller scale projects without accessible engineering services. We wanted to be the place where those clients could turn to; no job is too small.
Why we do what we do
Our main goal at Steel City Structural Engineering is to be able to meet our client’s needs in an individualized and timely manner. We take pride in our work, relationships, and overall satisfaction of our clients. We are happy to celebrate a completed and successful project alongside everyone involved. Whether it is designing a beam to open up a space between a homeowner’s kitchen and living room or providing a letter regarding a structural concern for a real estate transaction, being able to help our clients meet their engineering needs is why we do what we do.
